Doc. Post 3
Our documentary is going ok so far. We have an idea about the factors that go into chosing the right college for you but we arn't really sure if thats the right topic. Some people say that it is an ok topic and could be good if we made it interesting and other people have said that it has been done before and we should chose another idea. The Digging Deep part of the packet was the most interesting to me. The types of research they mentioned made me relate it to my own project. The 'Top', 'Heart', 'Root', and 'Branches' they mentioned are things that we can relate to how we want our project to be. This reading will be a huge help to how we do our research and how the final draft turn out.

Doc. Post 1
My group is kind of stuck inbetween ideas for the documentary. We have multiple ideas but we can't seem to decide because each of the ideas we have has a flaw, whether it be a question of access or even if we could make it an enjoyable piece. I'm sure that when we do decide it will be a very good documentary. When I read the packet a sentence that seemed important was "But documentary reflects the richness and ambiguity of the whole of life, and this takes it beyond objective observation". This sentence kind of defines documentaries to me. It's saying that your topic not only to the issue in the social world but to life in general.
